Make sure you are comfortable on your Riding Lawnmower. It may not be the first thing you think about but you comfort on a riding lawnmower is important. Most ride on lawnmowers have a decent seat but there are other factors to consider as well such as seat height in relationship with the pedals and how close or how far it is from the steering wheel.
We are not all the same size so manufacturers of riding mowers try to allow for as many different shapes and sizes of people as they can but there are limits and each manufacturer will make different compromises between operability and comfort.
If you are different to average size either bigger or smaller, taller or shorter it is worth paying attention to how comfortable you might be. Most people who use a rideon yard mower will be sat there driving for a while so you need to be comfortable to avoid cramps and to be fully in control.
If you are unsure how comfortable you will be you should try some of your neighbors riding mowers to try them out for size and maybe even hire one for a weekend just to be sure it will suit your needs. It is quite a big investment to make in a ride on mower and you will most likely use it for several years so you want to get it right when you make your choice.
