It is beginning to feel like spring is with us and with the spring comes thoughts of summer days in the sunshine. It will be very welcome after a long cold winter and I am thinking of buying some quality patio furniture to enjoy those lazy summer days.

There are several types of patio furniture but I am thinking about either a hardwood patio set or possibly a cast iron patio table and chairs. Both of these materials are weather resistant and should last many years and if the patio furniture set I buy is built to last I will want to make sure the style I choose will be a style still enjoy in ten years time.

One of the penalties of purchasing good quality furniture for your garden is that because it lasts so well you need to be sure you will still want it in several years time. I will probably go for a fairly standard style of wrought Iron metal patio furniture which I expect will last long enough to be passed on to my children when I move along to the great patio in the sky.
